Anyone heard of reverse telephone lookup?

I need the address of someone I recently met and my friend said I could use reverse telephone lookup for this.

Not sure what this is so can anyone help me out.

Besides catching a cheating spouse, what would you use reverse telephone lookup for?

I want to sell a product that lets people look up info based on phone numbers. I know people do this to catch a spouse cheating, but what else would you use it for?

That’s what I did. Let’s stop these worthless jerks once and for all.
I have a guy trying to scam me on craigslist (over paid for my item with a check, asks me to send the “extra cash” back to his “mover”).

Today he called me, so I now have a phone number. I see from caller ID that it’s in a city about 45 miles from here.

A google search finds hundreds of websites that offer “free reverse phone lookup” – but they all lead you to Intellius.com. Intellius will tell you for free that the phone # is real (which I already know). But if you want any info about it, it costs $4.99. “Free for only $5.00″ – just another scam in my opinion.

I’m just curious about this jerk. I have already reported him to authorities, but I’m just curious now. I will pay the money if I have to, but I’m wondering if anyone knows of a site that honestly offers a free reverse-phone-lookup.

You cannot search phone numbers on that site – if you click “Search by Phone” it takes you to a different site, “www.reversephonedetective.com” which is just another click-through link to a pay site – a very expensive pay site. $39.95 for a full “membership” and $14.95 for a single report. They are only slightly less of a scammer than the guy I’m trying to look up. Thanks for trying, though.
Lynn, you don’t allow email or im, have asked no questions yourself. And every single question you’ve answered is about “finding someone,” and you offer this link in every one of them. It certainly looks like you are just an agent for them. I am disappointed…

how do you find someones e-mail address for free?

I only know their name and city they live in. I do know cell phone #. I have seen a few sites that offer e mail lookup but charge a fee. Just wondering if there are any free sites.

Someone keeps calling my phone and hanging up. They block their number out when they call. I tried to do a reverse number lookup but it didnt work because the person seems to be calling me from a cell phone. How do I find out who this person is?

Now Droopy is saying that he found a racy text message in December that was dated Sept 20th (a month + 1 week before his wife disappeared) on her cell phone. He does not know who sent it but (in his and his lawyers mind) this “proves” Stacy dun run off with another man..fer shure fer shure.

How dumb does he think the public is?
A) If Stacey ran off, wouldn’t she have taken her cell phone with her? If she did not want to be found, why leave behind the clues?

B) What do you mean you don’t know who sent the message? Hmmm…looking at my cell phone text messages I see that it does indeed show the senders number. Simple, call the number and see who it is. Or Hey Droopy, maybe use your police instincts and do what you would do in any investigation HAND IT OVER TO THE POLICE, if you are not smart enough to trace the number, they can figure it out. Even supena cell records! What a concept, eh?? I am sure a visit to a Reverse Phone Lookup site would help out.
